 Fiddleheads, rhubarb, artichokes, asparagus, and beets….these are all amazing, nutrition packed vegetables.  But how does one prepare them?  These colorful vegetables, when properly prepared, are absolutely wonderful.  Taught by Marta Vaughn, RD LD, a registered dietitian, this evening hands-on class will inspire you to enjoy our local produce bounty with tasteful recipes that keep health in mind.  Recipes will be vegetarian.  Cost: $60; pre-registration required.

cooking 101: a class for women who hate to cook:
 If you are a woman who hates to cook but wants to learn, then this class is for you!  This lively class is intended for women who want to learn some basic skills in the kitchen and requires no prior experience.  This class is completely hands-on.  Taught by Chef Rodolfo, you will learn to prepare some very simple and tasty meals that will impress you and your family/friends alike. Cost: $60 (includes meal and recipes). Class limited to 6; pre-registration required.

  Taught by Chef Rodolfo, this class will focus on classic Italian sauces such as a meat sauce, red sauce, and cream sauce.  This lively class is intended for people who want to improve their skills in the kitchen and develop a deeper understanding of sauce preparations.  No prior experience is required for this hands-on class.  Cost: $60 (includes meal and recipes).
